SOPHIE
BENINI
Italian-French artist, he has published children's books in Italy (Sinnos, Adelphi, Gallucci), India (Tara Publishing), France (Milan), Spain (Thule), Switzerland, Israel, China, and Portugal. He has created and conducted workshops on books in libraries (Rome Libraries, Library of Congress in Washington), museums (Macro, Maxxi, Ara Pacis), festivals and book fairs (Europalia, Edinburgh, Madrid, kideurofestival in Washington). For the Sylva Foundation, he created the 'Querce' collection, works in tempera and using the technique of gold leaf and collage.

BONI
Actor in cinema, theater, and television, he has won numerous awards including the Nastro d’Argento (2004), the Globo d’Oro (2005), the Golden Spike Award (2014), and the Premio Senato&Cultura from the Senate of the Republic (2019). He was a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF Italy from 2005 to 2012 and participated in many humanitarian missions for which he created reports, promoting awareness campaigns and fundraising.

He is one of the leading Italian photographers and interpreters of landscape and wild nature in black and white.

In collaboration with the Sylva Foundation, he created 'ALIVE,' a collection of photographs of majestic olive trees shaped by nature over the centuries and, in contrast, photos of olive trees irreversibly destroyed by Xylella.

BURTINSKY
Canadian, he is among the most renowned contemporary photographers internationally. He has dedicated forty years of his career to photographic testimony of the impact that industrialization has had on our planet. His works are found in the collections of some of the most renowned museums in the world, from MoMA and the Guggenheim Museum in New York to the Tate Modern in London. In collaboration with the Sylva Foundation, he created 'Xylella Studies,' a collection of extraordinary images documenting the ecological disaster that affected the olive trees in Puglia.

She is a singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. A Roman with Sicilian and Apulian roots, she has international training that took her from Italy to the United States and Brazil. The great composer Burt Bacharach composed a piece for her, while Tony Bennett called her 'the greatest jazz artist of her generation.' She performed for the Sylva Foundation, sharing its commitment and vision.
Designer, she is the creative director of Dior’s women’s collections, internationally recognized as one of the leading figures in contemporary fashion. She makes culture and art a form of activism and knowledge sharing for personal and collective growth. For the Sylva Foundation, she designed the set for La Romanza dell’Ulivo, the concert by pianist Beatrice Rana for reforestation, as part of the Classical Forms Chamber Music Festival. MARIA GRAZIA

One of the most renowned Salentino artist-photographers, who has been documenting the territory for years. On behalf of the Sylva Foundation, he documented the behind-the-scenes work of Ed Burtynsky in Salento, giving us that journey from a more intimate perspective, with a black-and-white documentary on the creation of the immortal shots from the 'Xyella Studies' project.

She lives and works in Florence. Active for many years in mural decoration and later in fashion for the Emilio Pucci maison, since 2005 she has been dedicated to painting. She teaches watercolor technique and has participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad. For the Sylva Foundation, she created a collection of watercolors inspired by the theme of trees and nature.
ROBERTO
DI ALICUDI
His real name is Roberto Longo, and he is a Neapolitan artist who chose the island of Alicudi, in the Aeolian Islands, as his creative base. He primarily paints on glass, a genre with a long tradition in Sicily. For the Sylva Foundation, he created several works that depict a colorful world made up of sacred subjects combined with mythology, local legends, mermaids, flowers, insects, and talking parrots.

Actress, producer, activist. Winner of numerous and prestigious film awards. She founded Every Child is My Child, an organization that provides education and healthcare assistance to children in Syria. The association promotes activities and events aimed at financing projects for children. The goal is to do something concrete for those children forced to live in difficult conditions due to wars, disasters, poverty, marginalization, and diseases. The underlying idea is that every child deserves the same attention and opportunities, regardless of nationality or social status.

She is the étoile of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. From Puglia, she has embraced the cause and mission of the Sylva Foundation, dancing under the olive trees in an emotional artistic interpretation. Dance as a message of hope.

An artist from Lecce, after attending the art institute, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. In 2005, he won the Special Mention at the 3rd International Art Prize Pavia 'Young European Art' for the work 'Odore di treno.' The same year, the painting 'Popinga' was chosen for the cover of Gaetano Stea's book 'Condono edilizio. La sanabilità degli abusi sostanziali su aree vincolate paesaggisticamente.' For the Sylva Foundation, he is the author of paintings inspired by the world of trees.

An Oscar-winning actress, she is also a passionate environmentalist. Alongside her film career, she is deeply committed to raising awareness and activism in the defense of cultural and environmental heritage. In support of the Sylva Foundation, she created a commercial directed by Edoardo Winspeare. 'Planting trees is investing in the future,' she says.
NEGRAMARO Sensitive to social issues, they support our commitment and reforestation projects. The collaboration with the Sylva Foundation, which began in 2022, continued during the N20 Back Home tour, with the launch of the fundraising campaign Music4Nature. LOREDANA

Born in 1972, she grew up in Romania. In 1986, she left her homeland with her parents for Germany, where she studied philology and mathematics before transitioning to photography. In 2001, she moved from Aachen to Berlin, where she worked as a freelance photographer. Since 2019, the artist has developed an increasing interest in nature. Numerous stays on the island of Rügen have led to the creation of the photographic series Graubaum und Himmelmeer, where beech tree landscapes are paired with the vastness of the sea, season after season.

PELLEGRIN
One of the most important living Italian photographers. Winner of eleven editions of the World Press Photo Award and a member of the Magnum agency since 2005, through his photo reports he documents the major conflicts of our time. His photography also explores the effects of climate change, reflecting on the power of nature and the fragile balance at the foundation of life on Earth. The collaboration with the Sylva Foundation goes in this direction.
MICHELANGELO PISTOLETTO Painter, sculptor, one of the most important Italian figures in the contemporary art scene. Together with the Pistoletto Foundation, the Dioguardi Foundation, and the Municipality of Bari, the Sylva Foundation brought to life the installation 'Il Terzo Paradiso degli Ulivi pugliesi' (Bari, Parco Maugeri), the manifesto of the artist's thinking, the symbol and the possibility of a world where nature and technology can coexist in balance. DOROTHÉE POTOCKA She is a jewelry designer, using natural materials in her creations that tell the cycle of life on Earth. Some of her handmade creations, inspired by nature and known worldwide, represented the Sylva Foundation during the Artigianato d'Eccellenza exhibition in Lecce, a marketplace dedicated to the finest Made in Italy products. RANA
She is an Italian pianist, one of the most talented and acclaimed in the international scene. From Salento, she debuted as a soloist at the age of nine; today she performs on the world’s greatest stages, collaborating with the most prominent conductors and orchestras. The Chamber Music Festival she directs, Classiche Forme, in collaboration with the Sylva Foundation, organized the special event La Romanza dell’Ulivo (July 2024), a concert for reforestation featuring the unpublished music of Maestro Nicola Piovani.

RIZZO
From Puglia, twenty years old, she is the Italian champion of Drone Racing. She has collaborated with the Sylva Foundation by creating videos and documentaries with the extraordinary and breathtaking images captured while controlling her drones.

TOMEI
An Oscar-winning actress, at the forefront of the fight for civil rights and sensitive to the issues of the climate crisis, she has embraced the cause of the Sylva Foundation by starring in a commercial set in the fields destroyed by the Xylella bacterium. The direction is by Lisa Leone.

Director, screenwriter, actor. Born in Austria, he has always been closely connected to Puglia, dedicating great attention to its places in his works. He is one of the founding members of the Sylva Foundation, for which he has created several short films.
